CAREER'S DAY

On the 6th and 7th August 2005, Al-Muntazir Islamic Seminary had organized a Career’s fair from 9am to 5pm with the aim of offering students the opportunity to meet with representatives from various institutes of higher learning in order to help students make sensible career decisions.

I IT was one of the participants along with many others such as:
• University of Dar es Salaam
• Financial Training Centre
• Muhimbili University College of Health Science
• AUSI Nairobi
• Unique Training Centre APTECH etc

IIT played a dominating role in inspiring students and the general public with the wide variety of short and degree courses being offered at the Institute. Institutes were allocated separate classrooms to arrange themselves.

To ensure that the objective of the event was met, presentations were also made by different institutions.

IIT presented on all short term and international degree courses available at the Institute, thus opening the eyes of the students to the wide and ever-changing world of Information Technology.

Visitors were allowed ample time to visit the classrooms of their choice and obtain information they required. It was estimated that over 5000 visitors had attended the event.

An interactive talk show was also organized during the evening, focusing on various problems faced by students, discussing the stresses and strains associated with being in O-Level and A-Level.

All in all the day was a great success for the visitors and the Institutes themselves.

IIT looks forward to participate in many such events in the future and helping people and IT work together.
